CHECHNYA

In our Eleanitza class,we are preparing a presentation about comflicts happening around the world. Our group decided to do the presentation about the comflict between Chechnya and Russia. We think that this comflict is interesting because the media don´t mention the comflict very often and we think that is important to know what is happening in other parts of the world. EUROVISION

 Do you know what is Eurovisión? Well actually Euroision  is an annual song competition held among many of  the European countries, every year each country select a member that will represent their country.
I like this competition because I love music. Here are some of my favorite songs of this contests:

BOOKS & FILMS

HI!!
This summer I visited a book shop, but it wasn´t an ordinary shop. It was a international book shop.
They basically sell books in English. So I took advantage of this and I decided to buy a book in English. I was very excited when I found the first book of my favourite book saga, Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Actually there are more than seven books and, as a big fan, I have red it all of them. (Those who are released of course jajaja). So I wanted to reed them in their  original language, in english.

Percy Jackson and the lightning thief.

Percy lives with his mother and step father, but doesn’t know who his real father is. Percy and the other students go on a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There one of the teachers undergoes some pretty appalling changes and attacks our hero for no apparent reason. Percy is able to defend himself, but the teacher disappears. For some reason none of the other students on the trip remember the teacher ever being there.

Percy eventually learns that the master lightning bolt of Zeus was stolen and the gods believe that Percy is the thief. Percy must undertake a dangerous trek with a couple other students to clear himself and find the missing lighting bolt, and all must be done within ten days. He learns much about himself, his dyslexia, his abilities and his ancestry in the process.


Also the first and the second books has fils, I have seen both....In English!! They are amazing and I recomend you to wacth them, but read the books first :)

WHAT DOES EUROPE UNION MEAN TO ME?

At the beginning of the term our teacher made us a question: What does Europe Union mean to you? By then, nobody answered this question.

During this three month we had been working and learnig about the European Union. We have learned who takes the decisions in the Union and how affects thoses decisions to us, the European citizens.

Been a member of the European Union has some advantages, if you want to learn somethig useful go an click the link and enjoy!!!

In this course,due to our international studies, we have a oportunity to learn German. Daniel, our German teacher, is helping us with this language.

We know how to say the numbers already, and also we learned the basic things that will help us if we go to Germany.

Sometimes learned the language can be a little bit borring, but I think that it would be useful in the future.
